1. Apply. Obtain a copy of the Application (found here or on the Clans and Subpaths board, in Nexus) and fill it out. Submit the completed application to Sanso via nmail. You should receive a response within three (3) days.

2. Obtain Council Approval. The Star Gatherer will present your application to the council for review. The review typically takes no longer than a week, during which your application and background information may be checked for verification. During this time, please set up a character webpage (using F1) with your legend showing. Note: your application will not be processed until after your webpage can be viewed. (If the webpages are not updating, please contact the Star Primogen or any Primarch to present your legend in person.) After the review period, the Star Gatherer will notify you of approval or rejection.

3. Stardust Rising. A short ceremony between yourself and a Primarch will bring you into the family as a kindred. You will be given the title "Stardust mm-dd", where "mm" and "dd" signify the starting date (month and day) of your one-month probation. During probation you are not allowed to: purchase your clan helm; purchase items from our clan bank; have a unique clan title; or have alternate characters admitted.

4. Become Starborn. At the end of your first month, your probationary status will be lifted and you will be given the title of "Starborn" (unless you have earned a higher rank). Please note: it is up to you to make sure that your title gets changed, by asking any Council official (or mailing the Star Primogen) to change it for you. Your presence is not necessary during a title change.
